  Nepal is a famous country for the climbing mountains. Climbing in Himalaya is a dream of many mountaineers and trekkers around the world. Nepal is the only country in the world where you can climb the highest mountains in the world; having 350 Himalayan Peaks over 6000m and among them eight are among fourteen highest peaks of the world. Nepal offers joys of mountaineering, which can be combined, with the pleasure of trekking & expedition. People wanting to do Mountaineering expedition needs psychological and physical stamina plus prior experience is certainly an advantage, but not essential. Minimum 30 days required for the trekking and mountaineering. No wonder Nepal is the favourite destination for mountaineers and every year more than 600 expeditions trudge up the Himalaya, including the trekking peaks.

The most popular trekking peaks are Island Peak, Mera Peak, Ramdug Peak, Paldoor Peak, Thamserku Peak and Lobuche East Peak, in Everest region. Naya Kanga & Yala Peak in Langtang region and Pisang Peak, Singu chuli Peak, Tharpu Chuli Peak, Chulu East, Chulu West, and Dhampus Peak in Annapurna region. Best Seasons
  There are four mountaineering seasons spring (March-May), summer (June-August), autumn (September-November) and winter (December-February).
Permission
  Climbing permits are issued by the Ministry of Tourism & Civil Aviation (MOTCA) for 135 peaks known as mountaineering peaks, and by the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) for 32 smaller peaks, known as trekking peaks, which range from 5,587 to 6,654 m in altitude. The following documents have to be sent to MOTCA, Mountaineering Division when applying for a climbing permit completed application, endorsement of the National Alpine Club, short biographies of all the members of the expedition (with photograph and signature), map and/or photograph of the mountain indicating climbing route and approach route map. Enlistment of the expedition's name does not require any fee and it should not be paid before receiving the permit from the Ministry of Tourism.

Garbage deposit for all 33 NMA Peaks
An amount of US$250.00 should be deposited to NMA as garbage deposite to get permit to all 33 NMA peaks.
The refund shall be made as per the provisions made by NMA.
